  • When you first step on it you will tend to go backwards. Just steady yourself, place your feet further ahead on the foot pedals and push forwards.

  • Stand up straight, keeping your head up and level otherwise you will put some strain on your lower back.

  • For a change of pace and to put more emphasis on using different muscles in your legs, your can perform a reverse action or backwards pedaling motion.

  • It's better to start off slow and get a good feel for the motion. Don't try and do too much too soon, remember you will be using a greater amount of muscle than you would on other types of cardio exercise equipment.

  • Each time you use it try to vary the resistance. This will ensure all muscles involved will be getting a maximum workout.

  • Use the dual action handle bars each and every time you use your elliptical exercise equipment. When you stop using your upper body you will be using less muscle mass. Always use your upper body and lower body at all times on elliptical exercise equipment for the best anti aging, health and fitness workout.
